HONORS GUITAR 2012-2014
Being apart of the LHS Guitar Honor Group Ensemble has been a great experience for me; I joined the Honor Group my sophomore year and since then have performed and played at numerous places and events. Playing guitar has been something I enjoyed doing and being apart of the Honor Group has fulfilled my desire to play and perform guitar music.
FUTURE BUSINESS LEADERS OF AMERICA 2013-2014
I joined FBLA my junior year and I am disappointed I did not join my freshman and sophomore year; it is such a great club! Dressing up formally is really nice and FBLA gives the opportunity to meet new students from other schools. The FBLA members are great kids and everyone enjoys each other's company; we all have a great time while establishing business ethics.
LEADERSHIP (ASB) 2013-2014
With the Leadership class, I have the opportunity to organize and plan school events and inhabit the fundamentals of being a school wider leader. It has been a great experience being apart of Lindsay High School's ASB, all those students apart of the Leadership class are great and working together is how we get most of our school events out and functioning.
FOOTBALL (JV AND VARSITY) 2010-2013
I have played football all fours years of high school and each year has been a different, yet great, experience. I played 3 years of JV and a year on Varsity; I changed a lot as both and player and person as the years went on. Football was always a great sport for me to play and the guys I played with, the ones I called brothers, were always there to pick me up and I was there for them. As individuals we grew, but we prospered as a team.
GOLF (2011-2014)
Golf has been a great sport to be a part of; from playing at River Island Country Club to playing at Porterville Municipal Golf Course, it has been a great experience. Golf was more of an individual sport than a team sport, you play to better yourself, you're playing against yourself. Freshman and Sophomore year of golf, I watched myself improved, playing golf like I never thought I would. It was great meeting and competing against golfers from other schools, and the ability to play at top course such as River Island and Ridge Creek in Dinuba. Golf is the only sport I believe well after high school; even when I'm 67, golf is a sport played for a lifetime.
